April Marie Bloom, originally from the San Fernando Valley of Southern California, is a renaissance faire actress and performer with 8 years experience. She currently resides in Perris, CA, and works for Coco's Bakery Restaurant as a Senior Team Leader. She has been married to John Bloom for 10 years, and is the mother to Geordyn Bloom, age 8, and foster mother to Charles Jackson-Michealchuk, age 18. April has had many roles in various time periods since starting her faire career, primarily with the Guilde of Sainte Marie.

As well as being an excellent singer and gifted musician (she plays the clarinet), April's interests include historical costume design and construction, needlework and Harry Potter (of which is an avid fan of the JK Rowling series). She is also the assistant guildmistress of Sainte Marie's, and homeschools both of her children. She is currently completing a degree in Criminal Justice, with the intent on working in the criminal and crime scene investigations unit.

This will be April's third year playing this most important Queen, and she relishes the idea. Her favorite aspect is the interaction with the children, and being able to bring to life one of England's most beloved monarchs. She also looks forward to the Royal Banquet, as that was one of her most favorite new additions from last season.
